VIVAI DIFFUSI in Chiasso is developed through four arrangements revolving around Corso San Gottardo, the main axis of the urban centre, a common thread connecting the identified fragile and sunny areas that have been revitalized through temporary installations. Corso San Gottardo will be the future location of several trees of VIVAI DIFFUSI, the remaining ones will find their home near the Franscini area, close to the Professional Commercial Centre, where the municipality will develop respective redevelopment projects.
the pots
The VIVAI DIFFUSI installations prioritize safety. For this reason, the chosen concrete pipes act as ballast, providing stability to the plant. Furthermore, in line with the promotion of a circular economy, the pots of VIVAI DIFFUSI are fully reusable after the installation period.
the mulching
To promote biodiversity in urban settings and minimize the impact of VIVAI DIFFUSI arrangements, the mulching used is composed entirely of natural materials already present in nature. Dry leaves, pebbles and small twigs, typical elements found in the undergrowth, are used to create an essential protective layer for plant survival.

At the train station, VIVAI DIFFUSI is divided into two different installations located at the entrances of Via della Stazione, which is completely devoid of trees or greenery.

In Piazza Elvezia, adjacent to the customs office in Chiasso, the VIVAI DIFFUSI specimens are arranged along the lines that form the golden spiral, evoking the idea of harmonious development between urban space and nature.
